                    THAT DOESN'T SOUND VERY CORRECT TO ME. WHAT IS REALLY MEANT NY STILLING THE MIND OR QUEITING THE MIND?



                       ANS :  THE MIND HAS TO VALUE STILLNESS. THAT IS CALLED MEDITATIVENESS.

                            MIND, AT EVERY POINT, AT EVERY MOMENT, IS A CHOICE. THE CHOICE ON ONE SIDE IS RESTIVENESS, LACK OF REST. THE CHOICE ON THE OTHER SIDE IS RESTFULNESS.







                           THEN, WHAT IS MEDITATION? TO BE IN THE RIGHT CHOICE CONTINUOUSLY, 24/7, THAT IS MEDITATION.



MIND, AT EVERY POINT, AT EVERY MOMENT, IS A CHOICE. TO BE IN THE RIGHT CHOICE CONTINUOUSLY, 24/7, THAT IS MEDITATION.




                             YOU CANNOT STOP THE MOVEMENT OF THE MIND. THE MIND IS NOTHING BUT MOVEMENT. YOU JUST HAVE TO ENSURE THAT IS MOVES RIGHTLY, THAT IS MEDITATIVENESS. AND MEDITATIVENESS IS THAT WHEN, JUST BY CHANCE, THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE MIND TO MOVE, THEN YOU DO NOT BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE AND START FORCING IT TO MOVE.

                       THERE ARE TWO EXTREMES. ON ONE HAND,  THERE ARE PEOPLE ADDICTED TO MENTAL ACTIVITY. THEY BECOME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE IF SOMEHOW THE MIND PAUSES EVEN FOR A WHILE. THEY CANNOT TOLERATE SILENCE, THEY CANNOT TOLERATE REST OR STILLNESS. YOU MUST HAVE MET SUCH PEOPLE, SOMETIMES IN THE MIRROR.



                        THE MIND MUST BE PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF RAPID MOVEMENT WHEN NEEDED, AND WHEN IT IS NOT NEEDED, THEN THE MIND MUST BE EQUALLY COMFORTABLE IN LAZILY SLEEPING WITH NO TRACE OF GUILT. THERE IS NO NEED TO MOVE, SO THE MIND IS NOT NEEDLESSLY HOPPNG ABOUT, AND WHEN THERE IS A NEED TO MOVE, THE MIND IS LIGHTING-QUICK . BOTH OF THESE ARE INCLUDED IN MEDITATIVENESS. DO WE GET THIS?








IF YOU ARE STANDING ON THE DIMENSION OF JUDGMENT, BE A BETTER JUDGE. IF YOU MUST THINK, THEN BE A BETTER THINKER. IF YOU CANNOT AVOID COMPANY, FIND A BETTER COMPANY.

                       REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NOTHING BUT THE EGO. YOU CANNOT JUST JUMP OUT OF YOUR EGO. YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL WITH THIS EGO TO THAT POINT WHERE IT REACHES, MEETS ITS CLIMAX. THAT'S WHAT I AM CALLING GREATNESS.








                           SO , YOU CANNOT JUST DROP THE EGO. YOU ARE THE EGO. YOU CAN'T EVEN LEAP OF YOUR SKIN. HOW WILL YOU LEAP OUT OF THE EGO? SO, YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT WHICH  YOU ARE ITSELF HAS TO BE ELEVATED, EVEVATED, ELEVATED, AND IF YOU ARE ELEVATE IT HIGH ENOUGH, THEN YOU HAVE TRANSCENDED.

                     MINDFULNESS AND BEING CONSCIOUS ARE BOTH THE SAME THING?



                    ANS : THE SAME THING. AND QUITE CLOSELY RELATED TO THIS IS THE PRACTICE OF TANTRIC METHODS. A LOT OF THAT IS ALSO JUST ABOUT MINDFUL SEX. "BE VERY MINDFUL"! THEY WILL NOT SAY, "WHY THE HELL DOES THIS THING EXIST?" THEY WILL NOT SAY, "WHO IS THE ONE EAGER TO COPULATE?" THEY WILL NOT TO BE ASKED. THEY WILL JUSTT SAY, "YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU DOING IT, BE MINDFUL!".\




                              AND WHAT DOES BEING MINDFUL MEAN? BEING MORE CONSCIOUS.



                            SPIRITUALITY IS THE TRANSCENDENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. SPIRITUALLY IS TO SEE THAT ALL ELEMENTS OF CONSCIOUSNESS ARE IN THE SAME DIMENSION AND ARE NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

PAIN DOES NOT COME FOR NO REASON. PAIN COMES SO THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT LIVING, WALKING RIGHTLY. ACKNOWLEDGE PAIN, AND BE MORE LOVING ANS SENSITIVE TOWARDS YOUSELF. YOU DON'T NEED TO LEAD A LIFE OF SUFFERING. YOU ARE NOT OBLIGED TO KEEP INVITING PAIN.


WHEN YOU ARE DOING WHAT YOU MUST DO AND NOT DOING WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO, THAT IS MEDITATION.



MEDITATION IS NOT SOMETHING THAT PURIFIES YOU. MEDITATION IS SOMETHING THAT DISSOLVES YOU.

                         MEDITATION IS THE MIND LOOKING DIRECTLY AT THAT WHICH IT REALLY WANTS. THE MIND WANTS PEACE. THE MIND WANTS TO RELAX AND GO TO SLEEP. THAT TOTAL SLEEP IS ALSO CALLED SAMADHI (DISSOLUTION, UNION.)




                        WHEN THE MIND IS NOT ACTING AS ITS OWN ENEMY, WHEN THE MIND IS GOING IN THE DIRECTIONIT ANYWAY INTENDS TO GO, THAT IS MEDITATION.



                  WHEN YOU ARE FULFILLING YOUR DEEPEST AND ULTIMATE DESIRE, THAT IS MEDITATION.









                 REAL MEDITATIVENESS IS YOUR LIFE BREATH. AND BECAUSE IT IS YOUR LIFE BREATH, IT MUST REMAIN UNNOTICED. IT YOU CAN KNOW WHEN YOU ARE MEDITATING, THEN YOU ARE NOT MEDITATING AT ALL. THAT IS THE ONE TEST. JUST AS, IF YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE LOVING, THE YOU ARE NOT LOVING AT ALL. IF YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE SPEAKING THE TRUTH, THEN TRUTH IS ALIEN TO YOU.



                          MEDITATION IS EITHER CONTINUOUS OR NEVER. IT CANNOT BE INTERMITTENT. TO BE CONTINUOUSLY IN SERVICE OF THE DEEPEST IS MEDITATION.




 





       WHAT IS VIPASSANA MEDITATION?

IT IS VERY MUCH AN IMPROVISED THING.




                   IF YOU COULD REALLY LOOK, FIRST OF ALL YOU WOULD LOOK INTO WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. WHY WOULD YOU BE SOMEONE WHO HAS THE CAPACITY TO LOOK AT SOMETHING AS SUBTLE AS THE BREATH, AND YET HE IS NOT ABLE TO LOOK AT SOMETHING AS GROSS ARE SO ACTIONS?








                    IT IS ABOUT LOOKING, RIGHT? OBSERVING, VIPASSANA, OBSERVING RIGHTLY. THE BREATH IS SUBTLE, ACTIONS ARE SO LOUD.



                    SEE HOW YOU ARE LIVING THAT'S ALL.




                           OBVIOUSLY, SEEING IS IMPORTANT, BUT WHAT TO SEE? THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BREATH! WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING THE BREATH? OR MAYBE WATCHING THE BREATH IS A CONVENIENT WAY TO AVOID WATCHING THAT WHICH REALLY NEEDS TO BE WATCHED.



                       YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS YOUR WIFE. INSTEAD OF THAT, YOU ARE WATCHING YOUR BREATH. NICE TRICK. SMART CHAP!

                         "JUST AS GOLD, BY THOROUGH HEATHING IN FIRE, GIVES UP ITS IMPURITIES AND GAINS ITS OWN LUSTRE, SO TOO THE MIND THROUGH MEDITATION SHEDS ITS IMPURITIES OF SATTVA, RAJAS, AND TAMAS, AND ATTAINS THE NATURE OF BRAHMA".

                       WHAT IS THOUGHT? THERE IS YOU AND THERE IS THE OBJECT YOU ARE THINKING OF , AND THERE IS A RELATION BETWEEN YOU AND THAT OBJECT. YOU DON'T JUST THINK OF ANYTHING. YOU DEFINE THE OBJECT YOU ARE THINKING OF. THE OBJECT THAT YOU THINK OF DEPENDS ON YOU, AND THE RELATIONSHIP IS ALWAYS OF EITHER FEAR OR GREED.




                               THAT WHICH ARE ARE EITHER WANTS OR REPELS. THAT WHICH YOU ARE IS EITHER GREEDY OR AFRAID. HE KNOWS NO OTHER STATE. THAT IS THOUGHT : YOU WANT SOMETHING.



                      WHAT IS MEDITATION THEN? MEDITATION IS WHEN YOU WANT THE HIGHEST ALONE. MEDITATION IS WHEN YOU ARE FED UP OF LOOKING AT THE SMALL. MEDITATION IS WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE SMALL AND YOU SAY THAT "IF THIS IS ALL THAT I CAN LOOK AT, THEN IT CANNOT BE SMALL, IT HAS TO BE VERY, VERY LARGE."








MEDITATION IS WHEN YOU WANT THE HIGHEST ALONE. MEDITATIONN IS WHEN YOU ARE FED UP OF LOOKING AT THE SMALL.




                         MEDITATION IS WHEN NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH IS, THEREFORE, THE OBJECT YOU AIM AT.




                           I WANT THE TRUTH". YOU CAN SAY YOUR SOLE FOCUS, THEN, IS THE TRUTH. YOU TRY TO INFLATE IN BEYOND ITS PERMISSIBLE LIMIT, EITHER YOU WILL FAIL IN INFLATING IT AND THE BALLON WON'T GROW BEYOND A PARTICULAR SIZE, OR THE BALLOON WOULD BURST. MEDITATION IS THE BURSTING OF THE BALLON. THE BALLOON IS SAYING, "I WANT TO HOLD THE INFINITE. I WANT TO HOLD THE SKY. JUST HOLDING A LITTLE BIT OF AIR IS NO FUN. I WANT TO HOLD THE SKY". SO , THE BALLON BURSTS. 







                  YOU ARE LOOKING AT SOMETHING AND YOU ARE CONTENTED WITH THE LOOKS YOU ARE CONTENTED WITH THE FORM, YOU ARE CONTENTED WITH THE LABEL - THEN MEDITATION IS NOT FOR YOU. MEDITATION IS WHEN YOU LOOK AND YOU ARE NOT CONTENTED. YOU SAY YOU WANT MORE. YOU SAY, "IT IS JUST NOT WANT IS APPEARS TO BE" . YOU WANT TO BE SHARPER, YOU WANT TO BE FINER.




                        THEREFORE, MEDITATION IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO EASILY SATISFIED. AND THEREFORE, MEDITATION IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO JUST WANT TO PRACTICE METHODS.



                         MEDITATION IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A TASTE FOR THE MYSTICAL.



                       MEDITATION IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A KNACK FOR THE UNKNOWABLE.











              MEDITATION IS THE HONEST WAY OF LOOKING AT THE UNIVERSE, AND THAT INCLUDES YOURSELF. WHEN YOU ARE HONESLY LOOKING AT ANYTHING , YOU ARE MEDIATING. WHEN YOU ARE COMMITTED TO THE TRUGH, THEN YOU ARE MEDITATING.




                           AND WHEN YOU SAY THAT EVEN THE HALF-TRUGHS AND LIES ARE ACCEPTABLE, THEN IT IS BEYOND YOU TO MEDITATE. MEDITATION IS FOR THE DARING ONES, WHO SAY THAT, "WE ARE PREPARED TO DIE, WE ARE PREPARED TO DISAPPEAR, BUT WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE STORIES. WE WANT TO GO INTO THE DEEP, DARK CAVE ADN FIGURE OUT FOR OURSELVES WHAT LIES WITHIN".



                          ENTERING THE CAVE IS SURE SHOT DEATH.
